Thorpe Park is a thrill ride theme park in Chertsey, Surrey, part of the Merlin Entertainments group and widely considered the UK's premier destination for high-intensity roller coasters. Built on an island surrounded by a reservoir, the park contains Stealth, one of the fastest accelerating coasters in Europe, alongside The Swarm, Colossus, Nemesis Inferno and Tidal Wave. The park also hosts Fright Nights, one of the UK's most popular Halloween scare events, each October.
